It was an absolutely lovely evening on the campus of the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, and Trampled by Turtles was set to close out the season of free outdoor concerts in a really cool, intimate little amphitheater. The place was chalk full of babies. I don't think I've ever seen so many people under the age of 4 at a show in my life. Then again I've never known a band to have so many very young devotees. It was an ideal setting for a midsummer evening of music, and the band sounded fantastic as usual just before they head out west for their big Canadian debut.
